Provider and service
Layerflow is provided by Seth-Moses Ellermann, Pfauengasse 8/22, 1060 Wien, Austria. Contact support@layerflow.app for help, cancellation assistance or complaints.
Layerflow provides a cloud video editor, media library, captions, voiceovers, editable language versions and optional lip sync. Features depend on your plan, available credits and the selected workflow. Studio voiceovers are editable; automatic dubbing produces a mixed soundtrack. AI results require your review before publication.
Accounts and workspaces
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and only grant workspace access to people who should see its projects. You must be authorised to act for a business when creating a business workspace or purchasing its subscription. Workspace credits, storage and included seats are shared across that workspace.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the material you upload. You authorise Layerflow and the providers used for your requested features to store, process and transform that material to deliver the service. This permission does not give us ownership of your content.
You must have the necessary rights and permissions for uploaded footage, music, scripts, voices, likenesses and brand assets. Before cloning or reproducing another person’s voice, generating speech in their voice, or changing their lip movements, obtain their explicit, informed permission for that use. Permission must cover the AI processing, intended script or translation, and intended publication or commercial use. Possessing a recording, finding it online or owning the footage does not by itself establish the speaker’s permission. Keep a record of the permission and provide evidence if we request it to investigate suspected misuse. Stop new processing if the permission is withdrawn or no longer covers your use.
You remain responsible for deciding where and how generated media is published and for disclosures required by applicable law. Do not present synthetic speech or altered footage as an authentic recording in order to mislead viewers about what a person said, did or endorsed.
Acceptable use and prohibited content
These rules apply to uploads, scripts, voice samples, prompts, generated audio and video, exports and every other use of Layerflow, including free accounts and connected provider accounts. You must not use Layerflow to create, upload, process, store or distribute:
- Adult or sexual content: pornography, sexually explicit or erotic content, content intended for sexual gratification, or promotion of sexual services. This prohibition also applies to consensual content and AI-generated content.
- Sexual exploitation or abuse: any sexual content involving minors, child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual exploitation, or intimate or sexual imagery created or shared without consent, including synthetic imagery.
- Unauthorised imitation or impersonation: cloning or imitating a person’s voice or likeness without their explicit permission; deceptive deepfakes; fabricated endorsements, testimonials or evidence; or pretending to be another person or organisation. Public availability of a celebrity’s or other person’s recordings does not authorise these uses.
- Fraud or deception: scams, phishing, identity theft, blackmail, misleading advertising, or content intended to deceive people into transferring money, disclosing information or believing a fabricated statement is genuine.
- Abuse or violence: targeted harassment, threats, hate directed at protected groups, incitement to violence, or promotion of terrorism or exploitation.
- Infringing or unlawful material: content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights; unlawfully obtained personal data; or material that facilitates any other illegal activity.
Do not bypass access controls, safety restrictions, credit or plan limits, attack infrastructure, distribute malware, or use another organisation’s media without permission. Do not use connected providers or alternate accounts to evade these rules. Permission from a speaker does not make another prohibited use acceptable.
Reporting misuse and enforcement
Report suspected misuse, unauthorised voice or likeness use, or infringement to support@layerflow.app, with the subject “Abuse report”. Include relevant URLs or project identifiers, a description of the concern and a way to contact you. Do not attach illegal material or unnecessary sensitive personal information. You do not need a Layerflow account to make a report.
We may investigate reports, request evidence of rights or speaker permission, restrict processing, remove offending content, or suspend or terminate access for violations. Serious abuse may require immediate restrictions. We will provide notice and an explanation where appropriate and legally permitted; contact support if you believe a restriction was made in error. We may preserve relevant evidence and respond to lawful requests as required by law and our Privacy Policy. These rules do not promise that every upload or output has been reviewed or that all misuse will be detected. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Plans, payment and renewal
Free access includes the features and limits shown in the product. A one-time trial credit grant requires email verification and eligibility; recreating accounts does not create another trial entitlement.
Paid subscriptions are sold through Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe’s merchant-of-record service, presented to customers as “Sold through Link”. The legal seller for your payment is identified at checkout and on your receipt. Layerflow remains responsible for providing the editor, workspace access and product support.
Paid subscriptions are monthly and renew until cancelled. Published plan prices are in EUR, excluding applicable taxes; checkout shows the amount, currency, applicable taxes, discount and renewal terms before payment. Stripe/Link provides transaction invoices and receipts.
Use Manage subscription in Settings to manage or cancel a subscription, or contact support if you cannot access it. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally preserves already-paid access until the end of that period. Downgrades take effect at renewal; upgrades may incur a prorated immediate charge, shown in the product before you confirm. Storage and member limits must fit the selected plan. Additional paid seats are not available unless explicitly offered in the product.
How credits work
Credits are a usage allowance, not money, a deposit or a transferable asset. Subscription credits expire at the end of their billing period and do not roll over. Your one-time trial grant is tracked separately. Plan allowances and current usage rates are shown in the product; the localization dialog shows an estimate before generation.
The system reserves credits before processing and returns unused reservations when an operation is settled. Generated speech uses measured duration and any applicable minimum per paid generation. Sentence clips split from one generated take do not each create a separate generation charge. Requesting another delivery, even of identical text, uses credits again. Regenerating a section may generate a longer surrounding passage to preserve delivery.
A mixed soundtrack requires source separation, normally reused across languages. Lip sync is optional and adds a charge for each video rendered. Full source duration can apply even if the timeline uses only a trimmed section. Estimates can differ from final usage because translated speech duration, provider minimums and extra takes vary. Completed processing steps remain charged if a later step fails; failed uncompleted reservations are refunded according to the ledger. Do not submit repeated requests while a paid submission’s status is unknown; contact support for recovery.
If you connect your own provider account for a supported legacy feature, that provider charges you directly for calls through that connection. Other platform-managed features continue to consume workspace credits. Disconnected or expired provider access can make the corresponding feature unavailable.
Refunds and consumer rights
Contact support@layerflow.app about incorrect charges, missing credits or a service problem. We investigate requests and arrange applicable refunds through Stripe Managed Payments. You can also contact Link support for payment or refund assistance. Cancelling a subscription alone does not automatically refund an already-paid period. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer withdrawal, warranty, refund or other statutory rights. Any legally required consent about immediate digital-service delivery must be obtained at checkout; these terms do not silently waive those rights.
Availability and reviewing results
We aim to provide reliable service, but maintenance and provider or network failures can interrupt processing. Keep copies of source files and important exports. Generated translations, voices, separation and lip sync can contain mistakes or artefacts. Check pronunciation, meaning, timing, identity permissions and the finished export before using the result commercially. We do not guarantee a particular AI result or that generated material has exclusive intellectual-property rights.
Liability and remedies are governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Deletion and changes
Deleting a project does not delete shared library media. Trash and permanent deletion are separate operations; consult the Privacy Policy for retention and account-closure requests. When a paid period ends, paid features and allowances end; storage-limit restrictions may apply. We will notify you before a material service change requires action or affects future subscription terms. Mandatory consumer protections, including any applicable law and court rights, remain unaffected.
